In the pages that follow, we have identified by manufacturer and model line those TVs that have passed LodgeNet lab testing for compatibility. Lab testing for compatibility is based on testing of a single TV submitted by a manufacturer as representative of a model line. Compatibility testing is conducted for one or more specified LodgeNet VOD or FTG systems, as identified in the pages that follow. For each level of compatibility, the listing is divided between two categories of manufacturers:

• “Market Tested Manufacturers” Market Tested Manufacturers have earned their place in this category by virtue of major market share, and have demonstrated long-term commitment to the market and to our hotel customers.
• “New Manufacturers” New Manufacturers are those that have not yet established major market share, and have yet to demonstrate long-term commitment to the market and to our hotel customers.

For each level of compatibility assigned, LodgeNet does not and cannot provide any assurance that the actual TV selected by a hotelier is electronically and functionally identical for the purpose of LodgeNet compatibility to the single TV submitted for testing. Only the TV vendor can provide that assurance to the hotelier. It is critical that you receive written assurance from your TV manufacturer that the TVs you have selected are fully compatible with your LodgeNet system, and that your TV manufacturer provide assurance of after-the-sale service and support. LodgeNet is not responsible for TV service issues.

Each hotelier must make an independent decision with respect to the suitability of a specific TV regarding such matters as ease of use, service life, picture quality and guest satisfaction. LodgeNet lab testing does NOT consider these issues. Picture quality is largely a subjective matter, and varies widely among manufacturers. Each hotelier is urged to exercise diligence with respect to its TV purchase decision.
