LODGENET AWARDED U.S. PATENT ON “TIME-SHIFTING” TECHNOLOGY

Patent Covers Technology that Enables Headend-Based DVR/Time-Shifted
Program Functionality

SIOUX FALLS, SD, November 12, 2007 – LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: LNET) today announced it has been awarded a patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office covering technology that enables time-shifting capabilities.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) awarded United States Patent No. 7,272,844 to LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation. The USPTO awards patents after an examination of the patent application and other material to establish that the invention is useful, new and non-obvious.  Patent ownership grants specific rights to the patent owner.
