Launches Comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program for High-Speed Internet
Access Service
Service Offers a

and Secure Internet Access for Guests
SIOUX FALLS SD, June 25,
2007 – LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation (Nasdaq: LNET) today announced the
launch of its High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) Preventative Maintenance
Program through LodgeNet StayOnline. The program was introduced to reduce HSIA
system outages and support calls made to outside vendors with a proactive approach
to conducting inventory checks, equipment replacement and functionality
assessment upgrades.
Guests now expect an
in-room technology experience that is comparable to the home and office, and
the Preventative Maintenance Program helps assure a reliable Internet
experience by using a proactive maintenance program to prevent Internet signal
strength loss, corrosion and system outages in hospitality locations.
The Preventative
Maintenance Program offers hoteliers the following two service options:
- Periodic Preventative
Maintenance Plan: This
plan will provide inspection and maintenance of head-end hardware, systems
checks from head-end to guest rooms for connectivity speed and functionality
and includes coverage of wired as well as wireless rooms. Scheduled inspections
and maintenance visits will occur every 4-6 weeks.
- Wireless RF Refresh: This plan comprises a thorough wireless
survey and a complete systems physical check. Each access point is isolated and
test for proper coverage and signal integrity. In addition, all cables and
antennas will be checked for corrosion and security, and serviced as needed.
This service will be conducted in a systematic fashion over the course of the
year’s service calls.
