LODGENET, NBC UNIVERSAL SIGN MULTI-YEAR FILM LICENSING AGREEMENT

Films to be Available in High Definition
Using Pro:IdiomTM Copy Protection Technology

SIOUX FALLS, SD and BURBANK, CA, June 5, 2007 – LodgeNet Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ: LNET) today announced it signed a new multi-year licensing agreement with NBC Universal. The deal includes NBCU's approval of LodgeNet’s in-room high-definition (HD) technology solution, which will distribute select Universal feature films on LodgeNet’s SIGNETURE HDTVSM platform.

Guests in hotel rooms served by LodgeNet’s high-definition video on demand (VOD) systems will enjoy Universal titles such as Hot Fuzz, Georgia Rule and others in high-definition. All Universal titles will feature LodgeNet’s PowerPlaySM media playback controls, providing Pause, Skip and Save (bookmarking) flexibility.

“This agreement marks a new phase in our long and valued relationship with Universal,” said Steve Truckenmiller, Senior Vice President Programming & Content Management. “Universal has a strong slate of titles for hotel release during the summer travel season that will be even more compelling to guests when offered in high-definition.”

“LodgeNet has established its leadership in bringing entertainment to guest rooms and we look forward to continuing our partnership to offer travelers a broad array of entertainment options,” said Michael Bonner, Senior Vice President for NBC Universal Digital Distribution.

LodgeNet has distributed high-definition programming to select hotel guest rooms since 2003 and currently delivers HD VOD content from many major motion picture studios and distributors. The company’s SIGNETURE HDTV systems integrate Pro:IdiomTM, an open standard content security solution developed by LG Electronics to protect the integrity of premium digital entertainment at every point in the distribution chain.
