Senior Database Administrator

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sr. Database Administrator.  This full-time exempt position reports to the Manager of Architecture and System Operations.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for installing, monitoring, maintaining, administering, and designing networked Oracle and other database systems.  This position will participate on project teams to ensure proper database, server and networked storage requirements are met.  This position will be responsible for helping define the infrastructure development plans, standard operating procedures, and system audits.
 
Candidates considered qualified for the position will possess the following minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• BS degree in computer science or 6+ years related experience
• Significant Oracle administration, Oracle Applications and ERP skills are required.
• Experience with supporting Oracle databases on Enterprise Class HP/SUN/IBM Pseries servers.
• Experience with Oracle or other database systems on Linux or windows a plus.
• Experience with other database systems including SqlServer, Mysql, Postgresql, Informix, Sybase a plus.
