Motorola PowerBroadband

 
The PowerBroadband system from Motorola is designed for enterprise hospitality and healthcare networks, and is useful in any high density MDU. It consists of a T3 PowerBroadband Switch combined with MC-802 (wireless & wired) and/or M2 (wired) WallPlates. (See below for more information on components.)

T3 PowerBroadband Switch
25-port switch or Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM), used in conjunction with MC-802 and M2 WallPlates to provide a DSL wired and wireless HSIA solution
  • Provides central management of both Motorola MC-802 (wireless & wired) and M2 (wired) WallPlates
  • Switch management is integrated into the LodgeNet Proactive Monitoring Solution (LPMS)
  • 2 x RJ45, 10/100/1000 Mbps uplink ports
  • 2 x RJ21, female telco port
  • 1 x db9, female console port

MC-802 WallPlate
A wireless solution that can be installed in the guest room where backhaul wiring is already located – saving up to 80% on installation costs

  • Centrally managed through the Motorola T3 switch and intuitive WebUI
  • Adaptive Line Power – operates over any single pair of telephone wire, concurrent and transparent with telephone service
  • Easily installs with existing phone service
  • Includes radio and RF mgmt firmware
  • 1 x 802.11 b/g radio
  • 2 x RJ45, 10/100 Mbps ports
  • 1 x RJ11, line in port
  • 1 x RJ11, filtered phone port 

M2 WallPlate
Can be installed in conjunction with the MC-802 to provide additional wired access where required

  • Centrally managed through the Motorola T3 switch and intuitive WebUI
