IT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Manager of Systems Development.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will, under general direction, provide software-based technical solutions to business problems in order to increase revenue, reduce costs, or increase efficiency within customer departments or for the company as a whole. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities; regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced programmers.

Candidates considered qualified for the position will possess the following minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• BS/BA in an IT/MIS-related field or equivalent work experience in conjunction with a non-IT-related degree
• A minimum of seven years experience in a programmer or programmer analyst position including a minimum of two years experience with Oracle-based systems
• Experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing preferred
• Experience with OBIEE, or similar, reporting tool a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be detail-oriented with good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and situations simultaneously
• Detailed understanding of software development and design methodologies involving multiple software systems and data sources
• Depending on position, experience with content scheduling, inventory, or manufacturing systems is preferred
