HOSPITALITY SOLUTIONS SALES ADMINISTRATION is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Regional Sales Manager in California. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Senior Director, Hospitality Solutions.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is primarily responsible for sales of LodgeNet Hospitality Solutions products and services (Video-on-Demand; Free-to-Guest and allied services) for a geographically based territory and for delivery on assigned room, revenue, margin, and customer acquisition objectives.

Candidates considered qualified for the position will possess the following minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Must have a four (4) year degree and/or minimum five (5) years experience selling premium priced solutions to Executive and senior level personnel
• Experience selling technology based products utilizing Return on Investment and other value added selling approaches and familiarity and experience with large ticket technology sales items is preferred
• Hospitality Sales Experience is preferred and would be beneficial in the selection of this position

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a successful prospector, independently developing new prospects in a highly competitive environment
• Must have strong legal (contract sales) negotiation skills
• The ability to multi-task daily projects and commitments, and to employ structured selling methods and approaches is required
• Must be a competitive-assertive personality with the ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, high-risk sales environment and possess a strong inner-drive and self-discipline
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with the availability to travel 60% of the time
• Proficiency in ACT!, Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required
